As an independent, neighborhood pediatric practice, we have the advantage of being able to open our office any time our services are needed. If your child requires immediate attention after hours, and it is a problem we can address in our office, we will instruct you to meet us there. We feel that this is a convenience we can offer which is more personal than larger group practices can provide. Oftentimes, however, after hours emergencies require services best provided in either a pediatric after hours facility such as After Hours Pediatrics or an emergency room, so it will be up to the physician on call as to where your child will best be served.
